CompTIA A+ Training & CompTIA Network+ Training
We specialise in IT training geared to the needs of the industry. Different jobs ask for different levels of qualifications and skills, so we always recommend that our students take advice from one of our industry experts before settling on a particular training course. That way they can be sure that the content of their learning package fits the skills of the job they're seeking.
CompTIA A+ training programs are about fault finding and diagnosing - both through hands-on and remote access, as well as building and fixing and operating in antistatic conditions. If you feel it appropriate to add Network+ training, you'll also learn how to assist with or manage networks of computers, meaning you're in a position to apply for more senior positions.
What jobs will CompTIA A+ lead to?
The sort of jobs this leads into varies slightly depending on which other skills you also have.
CompTIA A+ on its own will give you the ability to fix and repair stand-alone computers which are not part of a network - generally in the home or very small business market. If you also have professional user-skills such Microsoft MOS/MCDST, it will open the door to helpdesk work.
This could involve solving problems verbally over the phone, or using remote access tools to take over someone's computer via the internet or network.
If you fancy fixing and supporting networks throughout a company, you'll need to add CompTIA N+ and consider additional Microsoft certifications as you'll need more networking skills.
If this sort of course presses your buttons, then it's very likely you're a practical, hands-on sort of person.
Learning for you usually means getting stuck in and having a go! Reading manuals is a last resort when you can't figure out what to do next, and any manuals you have got are probably gathering dust with no more than 50 pages read between them!
If you're nodding in agreement, you'll find the conventional study route of books and classrooms very uncomfortable and something you'll have to force yourself to do. What you need is our fully interactive on-screen training.
You'll watch full motion video tutorials and demonstrations, and then interact with the software in virtual labs to practice what you've just been taught. You'll look forward to your next training session, which you can do anytime from the comfort of your own home - no need to trudge along to classes every week.
Back this up with Online 24x7 Support from industry experts and you've got the perfect package for you. Oh yes, and it costs considerably less than the competition too...
